Project Management Fundamentals
Project management (PM) is vital to the success of every organization. Introduction to the principles and methodology with special focus on planning, controlling, and managing projects to successful completion. Topics are divided into two main categories: technical and behavioral. Technical issues include the process and scope of a project, strategy, and managing risks. Behavioral issues include management, leadership, teams, communications, ethics, and professionalism.

Supports reference, communications, teamwork, foundations and technology competencies for library support staff; introduces the general student to effective strategies for search, research and resource evaluation on the Web.
History of LGBTQ+ Film: Silent Era to 1969
Examines significant creations, trends, and issues in the history of LGBTQ+ film from the silent era to 1969. The course explores films from around the world and focuses on intersecting identities. Identifies theoretical approaches to the study of LGBTQ+ cinema for interpreting historic representations of queer and trans people.

An intermediate exploration into the process of creating a news publication. Students work as reporters producing journalistic content and editors focusing on editing content suitable for publication in the campus news publication. They participate in the editorial and production process and develop the skills required for publishing.
