Apprenticeships
Apprenticeship provides the opportunity for students to earn and learn and employers the option of recruiting from a diverse pool of qualified candidates. The earn and learn model prepare students for careers by combining classroom instruction and on-the-job training.  Through apprenticeship, students have the flexibility to learn new skills and earn a living at the same time.

Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is a College-wide incubator of disruptive ideas that students can bring to life from concept development to market testing all the way to impact. CEI harnesses the collaborative spirit of various Centers and academic departments within the College and community partners in providing access to critical resources and networks with the entrepreneurial community in San Francisco and the Bay Area.

CityBuild Academy
CityBuild Academy is a pre-apprenticeship construction program. CityBuild Academy is administered in partnership with the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, 91·çÔÂÂ¥, community non-profit organizations, labor unions, and industry employers.

MakerSPHERE
Do you love building and working with your hands? Are you interested in earning $15/hr as a Maker intern either on campus or off?
TechSF
City College's TechSF program is sponsored by the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development and City College Career Services. The program supports students in the Computer Networking and Information Technology (CNIT) and Visual Media Design (VMD) departments to prepare them for entry-level certification exams, such as the CompTia A+, Network+, and Security+. The program also provides online study resources and free test vouchers for up to 25 students a year to take the exams.

City College recently added the PearsonVue IT Certification testing service to the Mission Campus Testing Center offerings. This center is the only PearsonVue IT Certification testing center in San Francisco, and is also open to the general public and local nonprofits.
